There is no formal structure to the club. The club is run totally by members. A Chair, Forum Admin (committee member) and Events Organisers have been appointed only as Trustees of the club only, these are members of the club, but who will time to time make decisions regarding the benefit of the club running.

Every member plays a part in the club .


This is the forum for the club, The forum is for all events that happen, whether they be shows, meets, lunches... etc etc. You ARE welcome to join N.Y.S.O.C at ANY event as a member. By becoming a Fully Paid Up Member at a cost of £20-00 a year you are entitled to two club stickers, a monthly newsletter, complimentary food at any event organised where the club BBQ and marquee are used (this will be stated in the event post, as some events we are not allowed to use them) it also entitles you to EXCLUSIVE N.Y.S.O.C. only discounts. Membership is per car not by member so partners are included.


Why should I join? I can just turn up at meets etc....

This is true, you can turn up at any of our meets or events. Joining the club with full membership gives you refreshments at events where the BBQ is used, (and as those that attend Elvington know.. refreshments were provided there too- this can save you a lot of money as we all know how expensive a burger & coke are at these things)

Full membership also gives you secure parking at events (not in the general car park) where the club gazebo are used, thus giving you club members around your car at all times giving you the chance to look round shows knowing your car is safe.

Full membership also will give you priority on any event where there are limited numbers. We always try to be fair where limited numbers are involved. Priority will go -in this order- to full members, then active NYSOC members from the forum, then any other people that want to join (unless it is an exclusive club event organised for us by a third party)


And then of course there are the discounts. Please contact the company involved to see what the discount involves please before any work is carried out to avoid confusion, some items may not be discounted as are already at a competitive price.

To apply for full membership you no longer have to wait till a meet, you can now send us your membership payment via paypal, and your account will get upgraded ASAP, and will receive a membership pack..

Before sending please send a PM to Help2003 saying that you will be send funds via paypal, and please include your USERNAME in the PAYPAL comments so we can tally it all up. Membership will then be due at the monthly meet of the month you join the following year.

CONVOY will leave Total garage by York College at 6-45pm - meeti up starts at 7pm for people to eat and the meeting starts from 8pm




The Sunday Meet - this is a rolling meet and please watch for details of it. This is held once every other month at a venue nominated by a member. This is so those that cant get to the monthly meet on a friday get the opportunity to meet members. It is sometimes for a sunday lunch or sometimes just for a coffee or half a shandy somewhere.... They are generally going to be at venues further from York so that members from these areas can meet together
